The construction of the second virtual net metering project of Minoan Energy has been completed by September 2022. Both the panels and the transformer have been installed. The connection to the public grid is expected in early March 2023. Thereafter members participating in the project will have their own power supply.
It is a 999.54KW PV station developed on a plot of land at Sarafali Mandra in the Municipality of Minoa Pediada.
During its full operation it will produce more than 1670 MWh annually and will serve the energy needs of more than three hundred (300) households and businesses for the next 25 years.
