Eirini Dakanali
Eirini Dakanali is a mechanical engineer and from 2009 until today collaborates with the Power Plants Synthesis Laboratory of the Hellenic Mediterranean University as an external partner with participation to several research programs of both private and scientific interest. Her professional interests include; studying wind farms, hybrid systems, energy upgrades of buildings, the management of European and domestic projects etc. In addition, she actively participates, as a freelancer, in proposals concerning the development of Renewable Energy optimization systems.
She became member of the Minoan Energy Community in order to effectively contribute to the energy transition towards a fossil fuel-free economy by utilizing energy saving and RES technologies. Through the community's activities of public outreach, she hopes to inspire an "energy consciousness" to each individual with the aim of creating conditions for sustainable development for the current generation and especially for the next.
