The President of the Minoan Energy Community, Charalambos Giannopoulos, had an interesting intervention on the Parliament Channel and Ms. Matronis Diakiakou's show "Membership Card", last Saturday October 8th.
The subject of the show is the energy policies and the humanitarian energy projects
It is precisely this humanitarian dimension of its projects that Minoan Energy wants to emphasize, which by its statute is an Open Community. This means that every citizen has the right to become a member and participate in the Energy Transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources.
In the first net metering energy projects of the Minoan Energy Community, more emphasis was placed on households affected by the energy crisis. The projects planned for the coming months are clearly larger and can cover, in addition to households, the increased energy needs of small and medium-sized businesses in Crete.
We invite all citizens and businesses of the island to become members of the Community, gaining equal rights and access to the energy wealth of our country
